Manitou No roof grid
On the MRT Vision/Vision+, the roof guard has been replaced with a roof panel that meets ROPS/FOPS Level 2 regulations. This roof panel can protect the operator from falling objects or tipping over and does not obstruct the field of vision. It increases the safety of the operator during all his movements and is safer for all workers around him.
Visibility through the roof is essential for the operator, especially when working at height. Unfortunately, the ROPS/FOPS roof rack reduces the operator's visibility.
When the operator is in the cab, he needs to see exactly where the boom is going. The metal grid on the roof provides the necessary protection against the load falling or even if the MRT rolls over. But this grid obstructs the operator's view and can endanger all workers around.
