Manitou Driving Remote control
We developed a new remote control that allowed the MRT to be moved outside the cabin and into the basket. The MRT operator can do everything he can do in the cabin from the remote control.
Customer challenge
The MRT can be operated from outside the cab but cannot be moved. The operator can only use the remote control when static, which limits the possibilities. If the operator wants to move the MRT, he must climb into the cab and do it from there.
- Saves time and energy: the operator does not have to climb into the cabin every time he wants to move the MRT.
