PERSONAL DATA

This information notice on the protection of personal data sets out the terms for the processing of personal data by Manitou BF on the data of Users contacting it via the Site.

Personal data/Data: Any information, used alone or in combination with others, that makes it possible to identify a natural person.

Manitou BF: Data controller for the processing described below.

User : Any data subject who visits the Site and contacts Manitou Group.

Site : Manitou Group website (www.manitou.com).

 

2. Processing carried out on the Site

Description of processing : Contact form 

Purpose : Process the User request

Legal basis : User’s consent. 

Data collected on a mandatory basis : Last name, first name, company, e-mail address, phone number, zip code, city, country, text message. This Data is provided by the User.

Data collected on an optional basis : Company ID, postal address, state, geolocation. This Data is provided by the User, except for geolocation, which is provided by Google Maps.

Data Recipients : The Manitou Group dealer or subsidiary chosen by the User. Data may be transferred outside the European Union depending on the choice of dealer/subsidiary made by the User.

Data retention period : Time to process the request, then delete. 

 

3. Rights of the persons concerned

The User has the right to access, rectify, and erase his personal data, as well as the right to restrict its processing, to data portability, and object to processing. He can exercise his rights by e-mail at the following address : privacy@manitou-group.com.

 

If the User feels his rights are not being respected, he can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority for the protection of personal data.

COOKIES

Manitou BF may place cookies on Users' Internet browsers. Cookies are files deposited/read on the device used to visit the Site and enable the recording of information relating to browsing on the Site (pages visited, time spent on each page, browsing equipment, searches carried out, etc.). Under no circumstances does this information enable Users to be identified by name. Third-party cookies are also used for certain Site functions.
