Personal data: The Site may be consulted without the User having to reveal his/her identity or any other information of a personal nature. Users acknowledge that they are properly equipped, specifically in terms of computer, telecommunications and security, to access and use this site. Manitou BF does everything in its power to make the site accessible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. However, testing, monitoring and maintenance activities, as well as interventions required for emergency repairs, may be made by MANTOU BF at any time. Thus, Manitou BF reserves the possibility of closing or restricting access to all or any part of the Site for maintenance operations or at the request of any legal authority and in cases of force majeure. Manitou BF will make every effort possible to notify the User in advance of the occurrence of such events. All equipment, communications, telecommunications and other expenses and costs necessary for the connection to and use of the site, as well as all necessary authorization pertaining thereto, are the responsibility of the User.
Article 5 - Intellectual property
The Site and its contents are the property of Manitou BF or are duly authorized for use by it, concerning its general concept as well as its software, artwork, data banks, design, photos and images, text, drawings, sounds, and all other creations making up the contents of the Site. Any representation or reproduction, in whole or in part, of the Site, whether remunerated or free of charge, without prior written permission from Manitou BF, the author or publisher, or any beneficiary or successor thereof is forbidden, except as strictly needed for on-line consultation. The brands and logos appearing on the Site are registered trademarks. In particular, the brand names Manitou, Braud & Faucheux, Buggie, Manitransit, Manihoe, Manilec Produit Blanc, Maniaccess, Maniloader, Manitou Finance, Gehl, Mustang belong to Manitou BF or its subsidiaries. All reproduction, use, imitation, insertion, elimination or modification of these items without prior written permission from Manitou BF or one of its subsidiaries is forbidden and constitutes an act of infringement punishable by law. In compliance with the provisions of law no. 98-536 of July 1, 1998, on implementation in the code of intellectual property of directive 96/9 EC of March 11, 1996, concerning the legal protection of data bases, Manitou BF is the producer and owner of all or part of the data bases making up this site. The User promises strictly to observe this right of intellectual property.
Article 6 - Hypertext Links
The Site may contain hypertext links to other sites (“third-party sites”). Manitou BF has no control over these third-party sites which are administered independently by their operators. Consequently, Manitou BF may not under any circumstances be held liable for any harm to the User resulting from access to a third-party site by activation of a hyperlink on the Site.
Article 7 - Cookies - Local Storage
In order to serve the Users of the Site better, Manitou BF may automatically install “cookies” on their Internet browsers. Cookies allow Manitou BF to record information about Site navigation which is entirely anonymous. The User may block recording of cookies by configuring his/her Internet browser software according to the publisher’s instructions. In order to serve better the Site Users, Maniout BF may use the local storage technology. Local Storage enables Manitou BF to save informations related to the Site browsing but remain absolutely anonymous.

The California Transparency In Supply Chains Act of 2010 requires disclosures concerning the efforts by Manitou Americas to prevent human trafficking and slavery activities within its supply chain. Manitou Americas selects it suppliers with the expectation that they are in compliance with all applicable laws and respect the inalienable rights of all people. At present, Manitou Americas does not (1) affirmatively verify its product supply chain to evaluate and address the risks of human trafficking and slavery; (2) have a formal process to independently audit nor verify that each of the vendors in its supply chain does not engage in human trafficking or slavery; (3) currently require any of its vendors to certify that products comply with any laws concerning slavery and human trafficking; (4) currently mandate specific guidelines or procedures for employees or contractors failing to meet standards concerning human trafficking and slavery; and (5) currently offer training for employees and management who have direct responsibility for supply chain management on human trafficking and slavery, although employees and management do receive training concerning our code of conduct and are expected to respect the basic human rights of all people.
Manitou UK Limited (the Company) is committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking.
Manitou UK Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Manitou BF, a French group of companies which is quoted on the French stock market. The Company is involved in the selling, marketing, distribution and servicing of a range of mechanical handling equipment through a Dealer Network. We have approximately 46 employees and operate in United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. We have an annual turnover of £170m.
The business of Manitou UK Limited concerns selling, distributing and servicing a wide range of mechanical handling equipment. The equipment we provide varies but is mainly relevant to the construction and agricultural industry. Most of the machinery we provide is used for extracting and moving large loads.
In addition to the machinery, we support our dealer network to provide maintenance services to clients whereby we will attempt to fix their broken machinery in event of a breakdown.
In the business we are involved with a number of third parties but mainly the manufactures that produce the machinery and our customers.
Our supply chains
Manitou UK Limited selects its suppliers with the expectation that they are in compliance with all applicable laws and respect the human rights of all people.
Our supply chains include: Parent company manufacturing, IT, Telecom and Admin services, Engineer contractors and hauliers.
Our policies on slavery and human trafficking
In the past Manitou UK Limited has not had a formal procedure in place to verify that its vendors in its supply chain comply with any laws concerning slavery and human trafficking or guidelines for employees or contractors to meet standards concerning human trafficking and slavery.
Manitou UK Limited has provided training concerning our code of conduct to managers and employees and all are expected to respect the basic human rights of all people.
We are committed to improving our policies on human trafficking beyond what we have in place already and therefore we have recently developed an Anti-slavery Policy which reflects this commitment.
The policy sets out the way in which we are implement ing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place any where in out supply chains. We will shortly be communicating the policy to all employees and it will be reviewed on a regular basis.
Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have in place an Equal Opportunities Policy which promotes equal opportunity and fair treatment of all individuals working for the Company. The company staff handbook provides protection for whistle blowers who try to assert their legal rights or bring to the attention of the management team any breaches of our policies. This is to encourage individuals to come forward if they feel that the Company is not living up toits ethical or social responsibilities.

Our anti-slavery and human trafficking policy has not yet been formally put in place but is due to be communicated to all staff shortly.
Going forward, our HR Manager will regularly review and update the policy as necessary and deal with any concerns from employees or third parties dealing with the business under this policy.
Employees and management receive training concerning our code of conduct and are expected to respect the basic human rights of all people.
